   We ordered the brisket and the smoked turkey. The brisket was lovely but cold, the turkey was dry and cold. All of the sides were delicious - corn, mac n cheese and cornbread The service was good

   Heard about S&B through social media. Being a self proclaimed BBQ aficionado I was excited to go. It was better than I expected. I would recommend to those looking for a decent BBQ spot in Toronto. Not a top tier spot but not bad.

   The food was devine! This small unassuming restaurant packed a mighty punch. Food was well seasoned and fantastic! Our waitress was also good! Thanks for a great night out.

   Finally got a chance to come and try the BBQ at SmoQue N'Bones on Queen Street. The service was excellent! Payas was friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. He checked on us regularly to ensure we were enjoying our dinner. There were three of us dining, and we shared a sampler platter for two along with two additional sides. The three of us agreed that the mac & cheese was one of the best we've ever had at a BBQ place. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente, and the cheese sauce was creamy and perfectly. The first one we tried was so good that we ended up ordering a second, the truffle mac & cheese. For our sampler, we chose the ribs that were literally falling off the bone, the brisket that was very flavorful, and the BBQ sausage that tasted wonderfully natural. Along with the mac & cheese, we also had the brussels sprouts, sweet potato waffle fries, and the potato salad. Everything was really good. The lower level seating area is all high tops. Upstairs has more tables and chairs, along with a bar stocked with various scotches and whiskeys. Thanks to Payas and the great food, we will definitely come back, even though we don't live close by.

   The ribs were great and it was the perfect bbq sauce. Loved the Brussels sprouts and cornbread. Our server was friendly and efficient! Would be happy to eat here again.

   As the only customers in the place it’s extra surprising that they screwed up as they did. We ordered ribs and wings, plus corn bread and shoe string fries. When the meats came to the table the waiter quickly disappeared. I assumed he was going to get the rest or our meal. Nope. Just gone. Hungry, and with food in front of us we chowed down. Eventually our waiter returned to ask how everything was going. It was at this point I asked about the other things we ordered. He feigned embarrassment, said he forgot and so did the kitchen, so he’d take them off our bill. But not bring them to us. And had they arrived at this point it would have been very aggravating as we were essentially bites away from being finished our meal. A few minutes later he brought out a chocolate cake, on the house, to apologize. The ribs were fine. Not great but good. Lots of overcooked bits, flavour was nice but meat texture was all over the place - rock hard parts, chewy bits, and others fall off the bone perfect. The wings had a great crunch and seasoning flavour but the meat was also weirdly chewy and seemed like they’d been reheated. Nothing about this experience makes me want to return.

   We made a reservation for 7:15 pm and turned up on time. Waited 1 hour 20 mins for our food which came out very cold. We advised it was cold but due to waiting so long we didn’t want to send back and have to wait again as by this point it was getting close to 9pm. The meal had the potential to be fantastic and was let down by operational issues. The waitress who served use was really nice and understanding however, the manager only offered us 15% off the total meal despite half the food being inedible due to being colder than your ex’s heart. Also, we were a group of 4 (2 male, 2 female) and the manager gave 2 men a free beer and nothing for the girls which we felt was strange.

    The major disappointment was the brisket, it came in thin slices, dry and rubbery, did not look like it was cooked the way a brisket in a bbq place should have been.
