   Where to begin. Overall service was slow. Servers were like robots scurrying around, not making eye contact with people. Not one server in the place smiled during our time there. Our server never introduced himself nor did her welcome us. Just came to the table after we were seated for 10 minutes asking what we'd like to drink. Took forever to get our drinks. Manager stopped by to ask us how things were. When we informed him service was slow and lacked friendliness, he said it was Christmas and they were unusually busy. We told him we were waiting for some bread and instead of going himself to get us some bread he just told us that he hoped we would enjoy our meal and walked off. Obviously he didn't care and wasn't interested so why stop by to ask us how things were? Food quality was lacking as well. My filet was chewy. Poor quality beef. My husband's prime rib had so much fat that he was lucky to get 4 ounces of meat from it. The bright spot was their Caesar salad which was delicious. However we were not offered anchovies by our server and had to ask for them when we received our salads. And they did offer my favorite wine by the glass...Caymus Cabernet. Capital Grille is an A+ for service and food quality. We give Smith & Wollensky a D+ for service and food quality. We will not return.

   Everything was marvelous I had their flat iron gold grade wagyu which was amazing with their travel mac and cheese which was also incredible. They serve the wagyu with a mole hash potato which was really tasty. The service was wonderful my waiter was very knowledgeable. If you get a chance to go ask for Aaron he's amazing. The wine selection was lovely and the drinks were amazing. Everything I could possibly imagine!

   Took 40 mins to get a drink. No bread until asked 3 times. Got a new server. He was great! He definitely turned the experience around. Thank you Dennis!

   We had Christmas dinner here. The restaurant was very busy and they did a great job accommodating us. Our meals were under cooked, so the waiter promptly returned them to the kitchen to refire (while keeping everything else hot). We had 3 managers come by to apologize and were handed a gift card for a future visit. They truly aim to please! They also gave us a complimentary treat at the end of the meal which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend. Also, I had a superb lobster roll here during the summer. Pricey but worth it.

   Smith and Wollensky Burlington was quite enjoyable. The food was delicious and the Service was very wonderful.. I would recommend Smith & Wollensky Burlington to anyone.

   We ordered 4 prime rib dinners, a special on Christmas Eve lunch, and specified doneness. Instead of medium one came raw in the middle. The popovers were smashed down on the plate; the ends of the 3 spear asparagus sides were tough; and the Brussel sprouts were hardly cooked. I was disappointed after having a fantastic experience last Christmas Eve. I will hesitate to return at another time.

   We drove from Worcester to have Christmas Eve dinner at Smith & Wollensky in Burlington after discovering that every (every) nice/high-end restaurant in Worcester ("we're the second largest city in New England!") was closed on December 24. The drive was well worth it as we discovered a wonderful new place for high-end dining: Smith & Wollensky! As noted in our star ratings, the food was top notch, as was the service and ambiance. Furthermore, even the noise level was decidedly low, which allowed for pleasant conversation -- a huge plus for my wife, who is very hard of hearing (even with two cochlear implants) and a big, big difference from any of the big-name restaurants in Worcester. All-in-all, having Christmas Eve dinner at Smith & Wollensky was a treat for us, no matter how you look at it. We will definitely return and we recommend that you go there, too!
