   Had high hopes for Small Barn because the food was great, and Perez, the bartender, was fantastic. However, the service from the manager left a lot to be desired. We reserved three seats and arrived on time, only to watch the hostess give our table to a walk-in couple. Instead of accommodating us properly by putting together a nearby table for three, they forced us to sit at the bar. When I addressed the issue with the manager, he was rude and defensive instead of apologizing. He even went out of his way to claim our reservation was for outside seating—despite the fact that it was pouring rain and there were no available outdoor tables. Big thanks to Perez for making up for the bad experience, but I expected much better from the management.

   Enjoy & shared a feta honey thyme appetizer delicious. Entrees were pumpkin angelloti & scallops both excellent as well.

   A friend and I enjoyed a late lunch. The service was amazing -- despite it being a rainy day -- and we were on the covered patio. The food was tasty, fresh and beautiful. This is my second visit and I will be back!

   We were 4 women having an early dinner. The broiled feta appetizer was delicious. The short ribs and sauce was very tasty. The salmon dinner needed a little more flavor. Our first server was very good. He went on break and a lead server took over. We gave her mostly cash and the balance to be charged on a card. She pocketed the cash and charged the entire $284 on the card. Our original server questioned her and she pulled the cash out of her pocket. When the manager was told he said she’s normally good as she’s a lead. NOT TODAY! She never came to apologize or acknowledged to us her ‘mistake’. The manager, Ivan, just kept trying to make excuses for her and told my friend it was no big deal. As we were leaving my sister slipped on something left on the floor by something spilled. She fell onto her knees and head planted into the cabinet by the exit door (Pic included). The manager was right there and did NOTHING. Didn’t check to see if she needed any medical assistance. My sister was so embarrassed we left quickly. SUCH TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! By the manager and the woman waitress. DOUBLE NEGATIVE!!

   It was our first time in Temecula and we ate dinner at small barn. Best short Rib ever! Service was great. We'll be back

    Ambiance was amazing, food was great, but they were out of about 6 dishes and forgot to put in our appetizer. Totally happens but wish the service was a little better. Still absolutely recommend this place!! Such a cute spot.
