   I invited some friends here for a double date and was fairly disappointed. Drinks were expensive and not that great and the main course was average at best. The appetizer we got was the only thing we really liked there. Overall pretty expensive for the quality of the food and drinks. We decided that the view was really the only reason we’d come back for but on the way out, I was charged $25 to exit the parking garage even though the restaurant had validated my ticket. I will not be returning

   Love the view of DC from Skydome. Our first time here and really did enjoy seeing the panoramic views. The menu selection is okay and definitely paying higher prices for the view. I ordered the salmon and it was just okay.

   The view was great from a table view on the exterior. However, the rotator was not working. Also, customer food is transported by food service attendees in the main elevators along with elevator riders, because the kitchen is on the lower level. There is no designated elevator to transport food. If you order salads, it is delivered exposed and uncovered on the elevator ride with other patrons. This was witnessed as their practice by our own eyes. This dome is located at the top of Doubletree hotel. Clearly covers for cold food that are not in the portable heater should be mandatory for health reasons. I am no health and food inspector, but as a lay person, I know this practice does not meet safely code in handling food. The view is great, but the handling of food is definitely suspect. Also, we provided our parking ticket to get validated, and we were handed a new ticket by Greeter, only to be met by a 25.00 feet in leaving parking lot. It was corrected by hitting the help button.

   It’s specifically for open table. The restaurant revolving mechanism was under maintenance and has been for more than a week. So there was no revolving restaurant experience. We came to know of this only when we reached the restaurant. We would not have visited if this was the case. Why didn’t you disclose this upfront when we were reserving or after? We want a full refund for this visit. Please keep tabs of the restaurants and update your clients. Basic requirement, I would say.

   Service was terrible and my food was cold when it arrived. The restaurant was not packed so there was no excuse for the terrible service. The food is brought up via an elevator, the food is exposed and not covered/protected from germs

   Overall we had a very good experience. Great food, great service with an amazing view of the city. The only downer was the restaurant was restaurant not rotating bc it was malfunctioning which they did not mention on the booking site. Keep up the great job!

   We arrived only to discover that the Skydome wasn’t rotating. Something was broken according to staff but it was not disclosed on the website. We could have gone lots of other places for a better meal but the experience was what we brought family to enjoy. The view is spectacular even though only half the party could see it. The food is no better than good but expensive for merely good. No specials or even soups in the winter. Service was friendly but a bit erratic. Probably won’t try again .

   The dome wasn’t rotating that night. The waiter was over loaded (he was very nice) and the food was mediocre. Overall I would have chosen another place. That all said the view was amazing

    Went for my birthday..the view and the ambiance is beautiful,however…we went for the 360 views and the rotator was broken. They need to let customers know that upon making the reservation! The service is slow and the food is mediocre. Then to add insult to injury one of my friends got sick from the food! Last,they said they validate parking but when 2 of my friends got to the gate they had to pay $25 to get out! 2/10
