When Simon Schneitter founded The Homestead in 1886, he established a tradition of warm hospitality and friendly service. We are proud to carry on that tradition which is reflected in a staple for guests dining in Midway Utah. All meals are prepared with fresh, local ingredients by Simon’s executive staff and team.
Simon’s restaurant is located just off the lobby at Homestead Resort and is rich in mountain-style ambiance.

We dined for Valentines dinner. It was a prefix and every single course was delicious. Drinks were amazing. Kudos to our server, the bartender and the chef. Fabulous experience!

Most of the food was amazing! The fried chicken cornbread and what they call creamy potatoes should be taken off the menu very bad very expensive.

The host is so cute and they were very flexible with our time because we ended up checking into the resort late. They took us when we were comfortable getting there even though it was about an hour and a half later… Our server was darling, and super helpful and friendly. Just enough balance of hospitality and personality, while helping create an intimate experience.

The tavern room was decorated beautifully for the holidays and the food was cooked perfectly. Our server managed our requests very well with a happy, friendly demeanor. The hard wood, while beautiful, made for a louder dining experience so perhaps next time we’ll request to sit on the lower level.
