    We were in Toronto for the weekend and I found this restaurant searching online for Italian that also had GF options. I am the only one GF and I found tons of options! We were all very impressed with our homemade pasta, the ambience, friendliness of all staff we encountered, the gorgeous smell of the blooming lemon tree by our table, getting to see Lake Ontario from our seats, and choosing where we wanted to "travel" to for the restroom "locations". Only thing I would change would be another GF dessert option besides the gelato. I plan to come back to Toronto again to explore more and will most definitely be visiting Simona again!!!

    The perfect location to catch up with our Aussie cousins visiting our city. Service was fantastic and food was great. Some of our members arrived late but it did not matter to the staff. Highly recommend this place

    This is our go to spot but we haven’t been for dinner on a weekend. Unfortunately the service was VERY slow - even though our reservation was at 8 pm. It took forever for someone to come to our table to start the evening and then it was slow through all the delivery of food. The food came out in a reasonable time but our drinks weren’t even delivered before the food. We ordered two gelato for dessert and one came and the other took an additional 10 min. Luckily we weren’t in a rush but the service was disappointing compared to the other times we have eaten here.

    The hostess by the entrance did not offer to take my jacket or umbrella so I had to ask and hang my jacket on the rack right next to her myself. She just stood there. Server was nice but nothing stood out aside from the interior.
