   My second visit to Shrub. ( My companions are regulars!) Biggest decision on a Sunday was do I go for award winning Sunday lunch or get FOMO about the small plates? Made the right decision. We went for 6 small plates and some cocktails followed by coffee and dessert and it did not disappoint! Simply DELICIOUS!!!! And service as always so friendly. Relaxing and delightful. Can’t wait to go back! We had the bhajis, tofu, frickles, padron peppers, artichoke wings and crispy sprouts. All incredible!

   Loved the venue and the decor, nice and relaxed and clean. Service was brilliant from start to finish. The food was amazing! Couldn’t say one bad thing about any item. We ordered 9 of the small plates on the menu and a couple of the mezze and it was the perfect amount for 3 of us. 100% recommend and will return, thank you so much!

   This is the second time in two days that we have dined at Shrub. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we booked to go again the following evening. It did not disappoint! So many delicious choices on the menu, the decor is fab the staff were great. Service was quick too ( but not too quick!). Special shout out to Charlotte who served us on the first evening and even came over on the second evening to see how our day exploring had gone. A really nice personal touch to the evening. Thanks again and I’m certain we will be back - Chester is great to explore but dining at Shrub is worth the visit alone.

   Amazing food. Both me and my boyfriend are committed meat eaters but were blown away by the food here. I also have an egg allergy so really nice to try some beautiful pasta dishes. Amazing!

   Lovely small plates menu, nicely presented and both the servers were excellent. Food was well priced, well cooked, and dor our requirements was perfect.
