   This was my first visit,a very cosy atmosphere in pub straight away.Looking through menu decided on Sausage and Mash asked for a change on veg , no problem .My partner had the special pork & garlic Mash,the extra that came with main was amazing .Portion size was more than enough for us both , excellent food ,fresh,extremely tasty and well presented compliment to the chef .Would highly recommend going for a meal .An affordable priced meal with drinks .We will definitely be back to try Sunday lunch or the Tapas night .

   We visited for a Sunday roast, and overall, the food was excellent—great quality meat, crispy roast potatoes, and a rich, flavorful gravy. However, when the plate arrived, there were absolutely no vegetables on it. After mentioning this, our server brought out some extra veg, but it was only tenderstem broccoli and parsnips. I can’t remember the last time I had a Sunday roast without carrots—it felt like something was missing. To be fair, the poor gent serving was completely rushed off his feet, seemingly handling everything by himself. He was clearly doing his best, but it was obvious he was struggling to keep up. Perhaps with more staff, the experience would have been smoother. Despite the vegetable mishap, the food itself was great, and we still enjoyed our meal. Just a shame about the missing veg and the understaffing!

   Our go-to place for Sunday Lunch, never disappoints, always enjoy. Plus the usual friendly service & inviting atmosphere. Would certainly recommend a visit.

   Absolutely wonderful. Service, ambience, food Was excellent. To top it all great jazz by Dave and Rachel. Definitely recommend, will be back .

   Lovely place and the food was excellent. Well worth a visit. The staff were fantastic and really helpful. We will be back.

   No heating in the eating area, we were sat by a radiator which the bar lady turned on but in 3 hours did not heat up at all. The food was mediocre at best with the fish fried to a deep mahogany colour and chips just chunks of fried potatoes, linguine was ok but nothing special, the liver was good but there was not a vegetable on the plate except for mash. We enjoyed past visits but this was really not a good reflection.

   The usual top notch Sunday roast, never fails to satisfy. Throw in fab service from the friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere & it all makes for a fab place to be.
