   We changed it up a bit and started with a side dish as a starter…smashed potatoes with a lemon aioli — delicious. Then we had starters as our meal…my friend had crab cakes and mushroom risotto; I had scallops and asparagus risotto. All well-prepared and plenty of food for a dinner on the light side.

   Happy hour is the best at Shorebird. Nelson the bartender was very helpful with our first time guests as they navigated their choices. Be sure to try his scratch margarita, probably the freshest we’ve ever had!

   I loved everything we ordered! Great cocktails! (Old Fashioned’s) Adored the lemon caesar! Great hot chicken sandwich and onion rings! We had a sushi roll to start, great too! Good service!

   Delicious food. The taco platter has homemade corn tortillas. I had the swordfish tacos. Sooo yummy! Designer drinks with beautiful presentation. Even the table water was delicious - maybe filtered? Beautiful atmosphere.

   One of the best meals we have had this season in Palm Desert. Salmon was prepared like I have never had. Rolls did not skimp on the fish!!

   This is our third visit to the Palm Desert locations and it's always a great dining experience! The Pork Chop and Salmon Mignon are both fantastic and beautifully presented. The Newport Beach location is also wonderful.

   Everything in the experience was top notch. Only one small issue, when we came in, hostess wanted to seat us at a 2 top in the bar. We are an older couple dressed in designer clothes me in a blazer, wife in a dress. Give us a good table. Manager quickly stepped in and separated a 4 top to create the perfect spot for two upstairs in the window. Surprised that they had a Raw Bar. Ordered a roll for appetizer and wife ordered a Caesar salad. Both were perfect. Main course, Filet Mignon for me and Sea Bass for her. Steak was rare as ordered and seared perfectly. Meat was so tender it barely needed a knife. What a great cut of meat. Sea Bass was prepared perfectly as well. We both had risotto for side and it was delicious. Server, Junior, was personable and professional. Made sure everything came out at the right time and checked on us throughout. Very impressed. We will be back.

    Shorebird is a must visit. The food is fabulous and the service is top notch. Don’t pass on the pork chop. It’s not your mom’s pan fried tasteless chop
