    Food was just as good as always! However I found that the portion sizes have gone down significantly! You get way less scallops and shrimp as before but the prices have increased. We all got about 4-5 scallops and shrimp where normally you would get 6-8. We go once a year for my husbands birthday. Even the salad was much smaller, which I feel they could add more since it’s just lettuce and dressing. This was the first year we have come home still able to eat more

    We recently celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday at Shogun, and it was an incredible experience! Jasmine, our server, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our chef (I regret not catching his name) was not only highly skilled but also very entertaining, keeping us engaged throughout the meal. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection, making the celebration even more special. Thank you, Shogun, for providing such a wonderful dinner experience.     The food and service was good - the only concern for me was trying to get our server to understand that we were a party of 7, not 8 and that we needed an extra chair and place setting removed to make it comfortable. I had to ask him 3 times to do this. (The seating is always very tight at this type of event, with one person often on a corner setting so once the extra chair was removed it was very comfortable) Our meals was good, but our veggies were underdone and lukewarm (raw onion) and the chef was rather unengaged with the group. Overall, it was good but not what we usually experience at the Shogun.

    This is, hands down, one of the top restaurants in Prince George! The food is always amazing, the staff are fantastic and the fun chef at the Teppanyaki tables is one of the many reasons we will keep coming back. 10/10!
