Ship Rock Grille could be a great experience if the opening and closing times were clearer. We had lunch reservations and showed up a little early. At first they said they couldn't seat us yet (which was fine) but then went ahead and seated us fairly quickly. The problem arose after we'd ordered and received drinks but not yet ordered food. Our waitress informed us that we should go ahead and order soon as the restaurant was closing in a little over 30 minutes! We were looking forward to a leisurely lunch, and instead, were extremely rushed which made for a disappointing experience.

Beautiful scenery, but food was overpriced for what it was. The Chicheron and queso was awesome, but their farfedelle tasted like it was a box meal I could’ve made at home. I was surprised that it was a large price for not a lot of bison meat (which had no flavor), watery sauce, and crunchy pasta. If I come back to CO, I’ll definitely give Ship Rock another try, I’ll make sure to ask more questions before assuming quality.

Great being able to bypass lines to enter at your reservation time on concert days. Staff was super friendly, food was served quickly and was very good. Great place to gear up before the concert, have a filling meal and - use the very underutilized restrooms before the show. Great time will try to do this before every show - we ate on the porch and saw a herd of deer along the ridge too.

I made a reservation on a concert night and the entry seemed a little unorganized. Once I was allowed to enter, I was seated at the bar, and the bartender was busy, but was very friendly when he took my order and brought drinks. Because he was busy with the bar, he didn't check back often, but it was okay because he compensated with this friendly attitude. The view is nice - back side of the mountains. The food was okay - nothing spectacular, but tasty enough. I would return to this location, but will be better prepared for my next visit on what to expect.

Chicken sandwich was overcooked and dry, small portion for price. I get you may for the experience but wouldn't go back. Server was good.

Atmosphere was good, service was good, food was over cooked and dry. Pueblo green chilie fries are delicious. For the cost, was a one time experience for us.

Best place to eat before a concert! The sausage sampler and chimichurri fries are great, and get a spiked hot chocolate to go on cold nights!
