General Manager, Oscar Venegas and Executive Chef Marcus Jimenez are serving authentic Italian American food in the heart of Congress Park. Shells and Sauce brings Old Country taste to a cozy neighborhood restaurant.     We cater all events. You are welcome to pick up the food or have it delivered from our Catering Menu. We have catered all occasions; from small birthday parties to President Obamas Tour and Media when running for his second term.

    We do private events events from 10-130 guests. We have two floors. Our first floor seats 70 our second floor seats 60. There is a bar on each floor. The second floor is perfect for everything from Wedding Dinners to Corporate Parties. The second floor can be used Privately or Semi Private with Food and Beverage Minimums.

    This is a cute place. Small. I think they have crowded too many “booths” in this space. The noise level is high and I feel you are eating with the table next to you. No privacy. The food is good. The shrimp scampi needed some acid. Too much garlic. More lemon. The specials were very good! The beef and the pork. Salads were very generous. The bread is yummy. Deserts were a disappointment. It was restaurant week so I feel things might have been too rushed and no attention to details. Worth trying again.

    The service from our waiter was exceptional, pleasant and warm, they spent time and went through the menu and gave their personal favorite, whilst highlighting the dishes of the day. The food was great and service was as well, it’s a great place for social meets as the atmosphere at the restaurant was flowing with people from all ages. This place is a must try.

    Third time here and they exceed expectations every time, both with service and deliciousness. The food is to die for. We tend to try their ever changing specials versus what’s on the menu and have never been disappointed. The quality and presentation are superb, and you get your food very quickly. Great value too! Will continue to come here and recommend to others! Personally, my favorite dinner restaurant in Denver thus far!
