This is a new restaurant in the Marriott in Reston Town center. Its a very modern and open concept restaurant with tall ceilings and tall glass windows. The hostess and waiter were very friendly and service was very good. Food was delicious. Most of our group had the Sea Bass which was cooked perfectly. The menu for main entrees is small right now but the appetizers and small plates have a larger selection. They are open for breakfast and dinner but in the near future lunch will also be served. Highly recommend. Also visit the roof top bar which has impressive views of Reston and even the mountains in the northwest area

HI Denise! Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the modern atmosphere, friendly service, and of course, the delicious sea bass. Our team takes great pride in providing a welcoming and memorable dining experience, and it’s wonderful to know that we hit the mark for you and your group. We appreciate your feedback on the menu and are excited to continue expanding our offerings, including adding lunch service in the near future. And we couldn’t agree more—the rooftop bar is a must-visit for the incredible views! We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back again soon. We enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant, but it’s not a typical restaurant; it’s really an extension of a hotel lobby area; not really segregated away like most restaurants are. The noise level after 8 o’clock, made it difficult to have a conversation. if you sit in the area where the fireplace is and look south, you are staring at the entrance of a garage and every time a car pulls out the lights are right in your face. So I’m hoping they’ll do something with that in terms of drapes or window coverings of some type. The menu is very limited at this time, but the food was pleasantly good, and the service is very good. The staff are working really hard to make it a welcoming experience for guests. I think Seven is a great option if you’re staying in the hotel, but at this stage, it’s not a destination restaurant. Those of us would live in the town center would be delighted to see it become one.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us—we truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback and kind words. Our team works hard to create a welcoming experience, and it means a lot to know that it made a positive impression. We also appreciate your insights about the layout and ambiance. As we continue to evolve, we’re taking all guest feedback into account, including ways to manage noise levels and improve the view from the fireplace area. Your suggestion about drapes or window coverings is a great one, and we’ll certainly look into options to enhance the overall dining experience. We love being part of the Reston Town Center community, and we share your vision of making Seven a true destination. Hope to see you soon! Best, Ceren Hunt F&B Director

Cocktails were excellent as were starters like potatoes and pulpo. The hamburger and sea bass entre's were both cooked to perfection. Looking forward to next time.

It’s not very often that you get to participate in the beginning stages of a nice restaurant. The ambiance and decor I thought was nice and intimate. The service team was pleasant, made us feel special but still seemed like they were getting used to things which was very understandable. The cocktails were impressive and we were enjoyed the use of Aquafaba in their Tightrope vs using egg whites. I had the smoked Old Fashioned and enjoyed the little bit of smoke in the presentation. The wine list by the bottle was short but handpicked for quality at various price points. We had a French Rose with our dishes. The shared plates to me were similar to a Tapas style and were flavorful. Our entrees were the star of the show with their Chilean Seabass and Short Ribs. Chocolate Mousse, flan and a Four Roses Neat rounded out our experience for a wonderful time.

The staff were very friendly and responsive and made use feel welcomed when we we seated. We had the prosciutto and machego appetizer. The portion was very small for $13. The bread was ok they served with it. We ordered a few glasses of wine and the selection is fairly small, I ordered a wine by the glass and it wasn’t in stock. I could see if it was a specialty wine but it was just a glass of Riesling that is in the house wine list. We split the burger which was $25. So we were expecting something exceptional. The house smoked thick sliced bacon was the highlight. However they didn’t cook the burger to our requested temperature. We asked if they could cook it to a medium and it came back well done. We had high hopes. I’ll give it some time to see if they work out the kinks. Hope they make it. Beautiful hotel and great location.

Opening week, so limited menu, but good food and service. Ambience in dining area could use some work. Harsh fluorescent lighting could be toned down a little.

Hi Richard, Thank you so much for your kind feedback! It was truly a pleasure meeting you and Ursula. Ah, the lights! We’re actively working on adjusting the settings to perfect the ambiance, and I appreciate your patience as we fine-tune the experience.
