   The restaurant was 75% full with one large party of 25 for lunch on Sunday. Our party of 3 waited 30 minutes to be served our 1st entree and over an hour for all 3. The first entree came out solo with 2 sides of fries that were cold. The next entree came out 15 minutes later. The 3rd entree after many complaints and a conversation with the manager Jairo Cercado (after the server, a busser and the maitre de) came out 15 minutes after the 2nd. The first entree had gone cold after sitting for 30 minutes. This is a theater district restaurant in a hotel chain. We weren’t expecting Michelin quality food (it’s not) but a cheeseburger, lobster roll and burata salad don’t take an hour to make with maybe 40 seats full in the entire place. After an almost 2 hour long ordeal, and hearing the excuse “we have a 25 seat group” from everyone, the manager who was curt the first time, was just plain rude. I waited 15 minutes for a check and got a $55 discount on a $211 check after the host promised to discount the check 50%. I don’t expect much from hotel restaurants in midtown, but the one thing they should be good at is moving tables quickly for the pre theater crowd. This place is a disaster and the manager Jairo Cercado who hasn’t trained the staff, isn’t hospitality manager material. This was more than just a bad day. My low expectations were blown away with incompetence and an exasperated staff that were apparently only trained to deliver an excuse rather than solutions.

   This was my first time dinning at this restaurant. It is a beautiful place and the service and the food was very good. The entertainment was a little loud for my liking but I would eat there again.

   The food was really awful. Not much better than a chilis or Applebees. I wish we took the walk to the real Hard Rock Cafe, this did not feel like a full restaurant.

   We went here to celebrate our niece turning 16. The service and live music accommodated us more than we could have imagined with them singing a happy birthday song and providing a dessert. Would recommend to anyone traveling to NYC, they were amazing. Service and food was amazing.

   Our server Nicolas was excellent. We had a birthday meal and all staff went above and beyond. Food was excellent. We all really enjoyed the meal. And would recommend anyone a visit.

   Sessions was all I hoped for and more. Very low key atmosphere, we never felt rushed. Food was delicious and the service was amazing. We were staying at the Hard Rock hotel and ate at Sessions both nights and I’m glad we did. Highly recommend 👍🏻

    The place is gorgeous. The service courteous but slow. The food not up to par with the place. Two tiny scones. It was nice that part of the proceeds will go to a good cause.
