   An absolute hidden gem in Russian Hill for Italian food. All the food was delicious with homemade noodles cooked perfectly and the best lasagna I’ve ever had! The two owners were just fabulous and he even treated us with a little dessert. Will absolutely be back and recommend to my friends/family. Thanks!!

   This is a great go to place for the real authentic experience. Great proprietor and chef, lovely food, and perfect service. Reservations advised — we locals pack the room!

   We were on holiday in SF when we celebrated my husbands 70th. The food, atmosphere, and service were all very pleasant. I'd be more than happy to come back. (Shame, it's so far from Sweden!) The pasta, the meat, the fish, Nonnas lemon cake end the Profiteroles were excellent! The birthday sing-along with a candle in the dessert and then chatting with the staff/owners made the whole dining experience very special!

   We had theater tickets and had to be served expediently, and they accommodated our schedule. The food was very good.

   Received a tip from a local about Serafina as a fantastic neighborhood gem and were not disappointed. After spending the day sailing on the bay, it was the perfect spot to end our evening. The place was full of and the service was warm. The food was authentic Italian, we had the best time! Can’t wait to go back.

    It’s a small Italian restaurant which makes the feel of the restaurant very intimate. There were two birthdays that evening and the entire restaurant sang along and sent them birthday wishes. The food is always excellent and the staff which may be the owners (feels like the owners) are so fun and provide excellent service throughout the evening. Some favorites are the antipasto al Italiano, the lasagna, and the lemon chicken. We don’t usually order dessert but the wine list 😉 was very economical and the choices of Italian wine were satisfactory. We went there for the first time two weeks ago and visited again because it was so enjoyable the first time. We will be returning next trip.
