    Very disappointing. I had made a reservation for my adult daughter’s birthday and noted that we would like a nice table away from kitchen and bathrooms. When we arrived a thrown together table was set for us by the door and office area. Small and not comfortable for 5 ppl. Totally unacceptable. They tried to move us to another table right outside the bathroom. We asked about The nice round table by the window and they said they had just sat someone there. Why?? That should have been ours. Also a very loud party of girls and loud music playing. Felt more like a college pub than a back bay Italian restaurant. We left and had our $700 birthday dinner elsewhere. A cousin had also called to send us a bottle of champagne at Serafina . We had to follow up to make sure she was refunded!!! If you’re looking for a nice ambiance and a relaxing dinner I would not recommend.

    Great and high quality dishes exquisitely served by the most kind and knowledgeable waitress. We had a very enjoyable family dinner.

    Added protein portions were very meager for the price. Ragu sauce was nothing special. Chicken tasted like it was precooked out of a package. The Caesar salad had tiny bagged croutons in bagged lettuce. Really disappointed in the service. Took an hour to get our entrees.

    The food was really good and it arrived quickly! However, after we finished the dessert we split, we waited at least 20 minutes to be checked on or even given the bill. The server was busy but it was hard to get her attention that we were ready to settled up and leave.
