   Had a great time with friends! The drinks were fun, food was delish and loved the atmosphere! The Cauliflower appetizer was scrumptious!

   We have been to Selvin's before and been quite pleased, however this last Sunday it seems like we got the "B" team or ?? We (wife and I) were seated outside, which was fine, late reservation. But we were right by a window that separates the inside and people are looking right at us. Weird layout. I asked to move to another table that was nearby and they graciously accommodated us. Perfect so far. Ordered drinks while perusing the menu. Great cocktails, then ordered a shared mix of items, salad, pizza and entree Seabass. The salad and pizza arrive in maybe 15-20 minutes. Again fine, but the entree didnt' arrive for another 40 minutes. I asked to cancel it when it took so long and the waitress brought it out and said it's ready. I accepted it (my mistake) only to learn it was cold. Where had it been sitting that it took so long and was not cold? The whole time we were there, a birthday party near us with about 16 people were doted upon. It appeared that some of them, maybe even the gentleman celebrating the birthday was an employee. Certainly several of the staff knew many at the table anyway. Regardless, the entree wait was ridiculous and serving it cold after we informed them to cancel was a miss for us. Will have to think hard about returning.

   This spot definitely has a lot to offer. The ambiance was chic and sophisticated, and the food was absolutely delicious—especially the chicken and waffles and the pizza. Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by a few factors. We were seated near the kitchen, which was quite noisy, and our server was very inattentive, making us feel overlooked. Overall, if you’re seeking good food and drinks, this place is worth a visit. Just try to avoid being seated by the kitchen and hopefully, you’ll have a better server than we did.

   Beautiful restaurant, great service and the food is fab!! We had the mushroom pizza and shared as an appetizer, was so good!! Shared the steak frittes, very good, a tad over cooked for medium. Harvest salad, is sooo good, calamari great!

   We started our meal with cosmopolitans and the hamachi and cauliflower appetizers. The cocktail was perfect, and the Hamachi was amazing. Cauliflower was not. It was basically a large head of steamed, unseasoned cauliflower with a very bland sauce on the plate. For dinner we shared the sea bass and the filet. The steak was fantastic; however, the sea bass was odd. The fish was cooked perfectly but the sauce it was on with cous cous was very sweet and did not pair well with the fish. It was served with three pieces of steamed asparagus, plain. For the price and the ambiance of this restaurant, it was a letdown. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the service was amazing, but it feels like some of the dishes need to be reworked.

   Good food with nice presentation & friendly staff. Took quite a long time to receive our dinner. Also was difficult to track down a person to help (asking for another drink, the check, a box for leftovers. Didn’t come back to ask how our food was & did not ask if we wanted desert. Noise level was very loud. Almost too loud to have a conversation with the person next to you. Overall a nice place to eat in Newbury Park.

   food was amazing! mushroom pizza was so good , we had to order a second.! Had the Caesar salad and Harvest salad and both were really tasty and fresh . Smash burger was very good. Service was very attentive . Cant rave enough about this restaurant. Class act
