Join James Beard award-winning Chef Dave Beran at his 38-seat fine dining restaurant in Santa Monica, where the kitchen is seamlessly integrated with the dining room. The menu, comprising 15-18 courses, showcases Chef Dave's deeply thoughtful approach to storytelling, inviting guests to embrace the experience & embark on a memorable culinary journey featuring the many inspirations of Southern California.

At SELINE, the focus is on connection, with every aspect of the restaurant— from the design to the custom plateware—built on fostering meaningful relationships.

Wine Director Matthew Brodbine presents two beverage pairing options to complement your menu. The wine pairing showcases selections from innovative, forward-thinking winemakers across various regions worldwide. The non-alcoholic pairing features a unique collection of house-made and curated beverages designed to align with the menu's progression. A carefully curated wine list is also available.

    Seline offers a feast for the senses. The flavors of the dishes are exquisite, the presentation and plating are visually stunning, and the aromas are wonderfully inviting. The service is flawless, with each course perfectly timed for an exceptional dining experience.

    Less obvious squab was the star! Service was tight, pacing perfect. Hard price to swallow before being awarded stars, but it was definitely worth it. I expect a 2 star debut. Thanks team!

    Terrific tasting menu experience. The kitchen nicely accommodated a couple allergies. The progression of dishes was wonderful, with an evolving theme that stitched together the evening. The presentation was amazing. The dishes were as beautiful as the food was tasty. The wine pairing was nicely structured with delicious, hard-to-find choices.

    Great food and presentation from start to finish, inspired use of mushrooms, amazing creativity with squab, delicious desserts, and outstanding service, wouldn’t be surprised to see awards here soon!

    I had one of the best tasting menus I’ve ever had. My daughter and I enjoyed every bite from beginning to end. It’s hard for me to leave a review because then the world will know how wonderful this place is and maybe I’ll have trouble getting in in the future! Oh well… when something is this good it’s time to share the joy of it to all.

    We had a lovely dinner at Seline. The food was innovative but approachable and delicious, the service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was both beautiful and comfortable. Particular highlights were the roasted mushroom with dates, the squash with apple and truffle, and the chestnut ice cream.

    SELINE is a foodie’s dream become reality. The theme of nature and natural elements throughout the entirety of its tasting course is prominent, and the pairings of flavors, textures, and temperatures are next level. Wouldn’t be surprised if they make it onto the Michelins Guide soon!
