   The food is very good although I wish there were more gluten-free options. Didn’t really like the diner style atmosphere. Would’ve been more relaxing if it were a slightly more elevated dining experience.

   I really love the food at Secret Bao! The flavors, textures and profiles are always innovative and delicious! Moreover, the waitresses are always so kind! I really respect and admire what’s happening here. The only thing I don’t Iove is how it often feels like the restaurant is doing us a favor by letting us eat there. Today, we came in 10 mins after our reservation and were seated but immediately told that there was a reservation after us 1 hr 20 mins later — honestly, the whole meal we were thinking about a ticking clock. I get it, it’s always busy here, but that can dampen a whole dining experience.

   Fabulous food and superb service in a wonderful restaurant. The food melts in your mouth. I recommend the Tacos as a starter they are heavenly

   We were one of the first people entered the restaurant when it first opened. However, they were already out of one of the special of the day item. The waiter said they only had 2 of those to begin with. Why put on a special menu if you don’t have enough. Another item, the Korean Paella, the chef cannot make it because they’re too busy in the kitchen. They could only make 1 for the table behind us. I have never heard of a restaurant too busy to make something for the customers. We would have understood if we had to wait a bit, but not able to make the order?? We will not be returning to this restaurant ever again.

   Food was very good , so glad to shares many different dishes , can’t wait til brussel sprouts are back! Honey so shrimp was my favorite can’t wait to come back and try other fabulous dishes

   Great informal dining setting. Fun and delicious Asian fusion. Dumplings are great. The KFC chicken was really special. Definately would do it again.

   Such a special place in Santa Barbara and a great addition to the dining scene. The food, service & ambiance are fantastic. The flavors and selections are creative, fresh & delicious! The level of consistency is what makes Secret Bao one of the best places to dine in SB.

   Bring back the brussel sprouts! We missed them, but pear salad, walnut shrimp, duck rolls ,, ta da, sticky date pudding... Fabulous

    Respect to the culinary team. Hands down best dinner ever. Front of house team was very tentative and regularly checking in on needs and wants. Super impressed and thankful to celebrate my birthday here!!
