   Excellent food and service. Restaurant qas very cols sue to balcony door being left open and air conditioning cutting in. Thermostat too low

   Drinks- Mojito was okay, no real flavour apart from soda water Starters - The chicken skewers for starters were OK...kids ate it without a fuss Camembert (£15) came with soft toasted bread and a few crackers and grapes. It was gloopy and needed a knife to scrape the cheese out and spread onto the bread. Mains- Ordered the braised lamb but was told they did not have any so ordered the seabass which was OK.. some bites were way too sour and was only give 3 sticks of carrots as veg along with the spinach. And cold potato. . Roast chicken Was a decent dish but cold potatoes The waiter offered for them to be heated or fresh ones bought out but we had already waited so long for our starters we did not have time to wait even more. Dessert Chocolate fondant was nice and kids were happy with it. Churros...probably the best tasting thing we had... Cost just over £100 which i think was abit overpriced for the quality.

   Food was poor and overpriced. Servers were polite but it was slow and disjointed.

   It was our 2nd visit to the Script as we enjoyed the first one on Fathers Day very much. Unfortunately we weren’t as happy this time. The lamb in the roast was like a doorstop and the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the roast potatoes were a bit underdone. The club sandwich was extremely bad. Not really sure how you can make a club sandwich bad?? A lot of bread and not much inside. The chicken and bacon were very overdone and inedible. All we were offered was a complimentary coffee!

   Script restaurant is an attractive restaurant in a wonderful location overlooking a golf course. The service was good but unfortunately the food was of a low standard, poorly presented and mostly lacking flavour. My chicken was moist & tasty but raw in the centre. The wine selection was not great but our very nice maitre de found a drinkable rose for me.

However, we’re concerned about the issues you raised, particularly regarding the chicken being undercooked. This falls far below our standards, and we are taking immediate steps to address it with our kitchen team to ensure it doesn’t happen again.    While the staff are lovely, friendly, helpful, and polite, and the environment is pictureque and pretty; the food choices were very mediocre and not very exciting. Nothing simple for lunch (no easy foods like sandwiches, jacket pot or salad); just very large plates of food or small underwheling starters. Why can't we have the breakfast menu (eggs) for lunch? Won't be going again for lunch as the food choice was uninspiring

   We ordered a meal that was wrong and had to be sent back. By the time it came out correctly the rest of us had finished our lunch and not even an apology was given. Poor service and poor food! Wouldn’t return

    No manager on shift. Service slow. Forgot starters. Bar staff not trained to make cocktails. Food left beside open door and was luke warm before served.
