Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous Fried Chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra. Other items, like the house-smoked beef brisket and braised pork shoulder, come straight from the state of Texas. The rest of the South is well represented as well with a Carolina pulled pork sandwich, chicken and waffles, crispy fried oysters and a pimiento cheese & sausage biscuit sandwich with a fried egg and cheddar grits.

Chicken and Waffles was the bomb! Chicken Sando was HUGE, and delish, Seasonal Veg Hash was amazing and Huevos Ranchero was also a big hit. Had some of the praline bacon too, which was really great. My husband's first time here and it did not disappoint! We will be back and maybe next time try the NW location.

A truly exceptional dining experience at Screen Door Eastside! Every dish was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients with innovative flavor combinations. The service was impeccable, with our waiter providing knowledgeable recommendations and attentive care throughout the evening. The ambiance was elegant yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a special occasion. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. I do not recommend the downtown location because the Eastside location is simply the best. Literally. Amazing!

You can’t go wrong with selecting this place, chicken and waffles amazing. Biscuits and gravy fantastic huevos rancheros are awesome. Excellent service, friendly surroundings whether you’re just with family or a big group they’ve got it handled. Keep up the good work screen door crew. You can’t beat not only a good kitchen, but then it’s handled by a wonderful staff, i’ve worked in a restaurant and not all function like a well oil machine as these guys do, starts at the top and flows through👏👏👏

The food was amazing. The service was less than stellar. We waited at our table for over 10-minutes without acknowledgement. They were busy, but they could have at least gave us water and let us know that someone would be by soon. The staff just ignored us for the most part until we caught someone's attention to ask when our server would be by. This was brunch and I really wanted some coffee which would have made the wait more tolerable. Again the food was great but I doubt we will return or suggest this location to our friends.
