   On recommendation, we booked for 8pm and were met promptly and politely by the FOH Staff and led upstairs - the room was really pleasant, the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. Started with a couple of cocktails then the scallops which we shared then the bream and the sole. Both were excellent. We had the Chardonnay from the ‘other wines’ list and it matched perfectly. Finished with asking if they could make a Widow’s Kiss cocktail (they could and it was great) I didn’t know there was a ‘downstairs’ but we were shown it, it looked as relaxing as upstairs. What was funny was my jacket seemed to catch people’s attention - it’s an action-backed tweed sports jacket, if you’re interested! Yeah, we liked it. We will be back.

   Fantastic (if expensive for Richmond) food in a lovely setting. Very attentive service.

   Everything we were expecting — great range of seafood dishes, good service, and tables far enough apart to keep noise levels down. Two had the Skate which was excellent.

   Lovely experience and fantastic service. Food was ok but I've had better meals and paid a lot less. Confit duck could take a few notes from an authentic toulouse cassoulet. Duck was nice but cassoulet was a bit tasteless and sausage was dry. Espresso martinis were a bit watery. Quality doesn't quite match price but I guess you are paying for the ambience and attentiveness of the wait staff who were fantastic.

   As always Scotts lived up to expectations. Lovely table overlooking the river. All in all ticked all the boxes.

   Beauty restaurant serving great food and fantastic wine. The table service was fantastic However the reception staff were very rude. We were 30 minutes late as my partner is on crutches and we didn’t appreciate the slope and steps we had to take to get to the restaurant. This inevitably delayed us. The person at the reception area could have been a bit polite about this but we were surprised at the tone and dismissive manner . took the the gloss off our night and left a bitter taste - but will definitely revisit
