   Our experience last night was not the best. A couple that had never been to Scott's Downtown joined us for Scott's Valentine's dinner. We had spoken highly of the restaurant before we went so all of us had high expectations. Four (4) of us had dinner together. Throughout the entire meal, when the serving staff brought out the appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts, they did not know to whom the particular dishes went to. We ordered 4 salads, 2 Iceberg Wedges, 1 Caesar, and 1 Strawberry Field Salad. Four (4) salads came out but the server did not have the Strawberry Field Salad. They took the incorrect salad back and brought the Strawberry Field Salad. Received, 4 entrees with sides. Two (2) ladies ordered the Surf and Turf which should have come with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. When those two entrees arrived, there was only 1 side on each plate which was the asparagus. Both ladies said at the same time, where are the garlic mashed potatoes. The sever said that the entrees did not come with that. Both ladies told the server that it was on the menu. The server said he would check. Server eventually came back with two small plates of herbed risotto. This is not what the ladies asked for nor did they want. Ordered 4 desserts. Three (3) desserts came out correctly. One (1) dessert was not correct and had to be returned for the correct dessert. Server brought the check out and everything was on one check. The server never asked how we wanted the check(s) to be handled. We had to ask that the check be spilt two ways. This was not an inexpensive meal. The dinner experience was not what we have come to previously experience at Scott's Downtown.

   Scott and his staff are always accommodating for us! They give us what we ask for every single visit! The prix fixe menu was outstanding and it was something we had never experienced before at Scott's. We will be continuing to return to Scott's in the near future.

   This place impressed me. I am not a normal fancy restaurant goer, but did something special for Valentine’s Day. I was expecting a very quiet and formal environment but was met with friendliness and upbeat (but still nice) music. The staff were very welcoming and I could tell they try their very best to give a premium experience to all customers. The food was excellent with presentation and taste. I would recommend Scott’s Downtown to everyone.

   Smelled really bad as you entered the door, not appetizing to then spend $130 per person.

   Unfortunately we do not have any control of whatever odors may waft in when a guest comes in the front door. But to rate us on all of the other categories such as food, service, value and noise when you didn't not even stay and eat when you decided against our 5 course prix fixe Valentine's Day menu is just punitive. You were made aware of the menu when you made the reservation, and when we sent the reservation reminder. But your quick departure made room for another couple that hadn't made reservations and they thoroughly enjoyed their evening.

   An evening at Scott’s is fabulous; our favorite server Mark provided the perfect evening. Their special seafood and pasta, and a wonderful French Chardonnay were delicious There bar goddess house made manhattan can’t be beat! Thank you Scott Make reservations, Scott’s is very popular with us locals

   Scott’s never disappoints! From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a friendly smile and made to feel like family. Servers are top notch and very attentive. The food was delicious as usual and we love when Scott comes to greet each table before and after their meal. Scott’s team went above and beyond this visit with a personalized bourbon cake for my husbands birthday! I highly recommend you visit Scott’s for an upscale dining experience in Gainesville. You will not be disappointed!!!

   Fantastic local gem. Great restaurant in a quaint lake town outside of Atlanta. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was amazing and the service was excellent (thank you Bri!). If you are just 2, ask for one one the private tables in their own little room off the main floor. The bar was also excellent!

   Brie and the staff were outstanding as usual. Love this place because everyone is so helpful and friendly. Scott is like the house host whom makes one feel like you're having dinner at his house. Food and service are awesome! I had the Seabass and friend had the Scallops and really liked it (and he was a restauranteuer so he know his food). Brought our special Burgundy and Pinot Noir wines and shared it with the staff. Highly recommended.

   This was our first time at Scott’s and it was a very good experience. Our server, Mark, was very good and attentive. Our food was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely. I couldn’t ask for a better experience for my 76th birthday dinner.

    Food was ice cold. It looked and tasted very bland. Our server was good but this is one of the worst meals we’ve ever had.
