   What a top spot. We went for brunch & took our dog. We were all greeted with such warmth & friendliness. The setting is quirky & interesting, the ambience was laid back & cosy. My scrambled egg was cooked perfectly & my husband’s full English was (in his words) the best he’s had in ages! Great Bloody Mary’s too. We will definitely be returning, next time to try their lunchtime menu, which sounds delicious.

   The staff on the day very helpfully facilitated a move to a table which accommodated 6 guests and our 6 dogs. I’d provided that information on booking but the original table was inadequate. Well done to the staff today for accommodating us suitably, it made the lunch viable.

   All our food was excellent and very good value. We had the sardines and the salsa verde was outstanding. It’s a wonderful place for a long lunch or a coffee and cake after. Lovely walk on the beach! Staff were friendly and service was good. Ambiance is very pleasant. Great place with great doog value food!

   Absolutely fantastic, we booked a table for a 11 for a birthday celebration. After a Morning on the beach, we had an amazing lunch at the school house. The food was delicious, great value for money and super friendly service. Looking forward to going back again.

   We had a really lovely meal here, our waitress was very friendly and efficient, we loved the outside area with the fireplace and the crab linguine was absolutely spot on. We felt unhurried and able to enjoy a long and relaxing meal in our own time. It’s a perfect spot by a beautiful beach too

   Came for a late morning breakfast last Sunday . I grew up locally but haven’t been here since it was run by 2 old ladies! I was really pleased what they had done with the place. We sat in the covered outside bit, with a log burner keeping us warm. The staff were really nice and friendly. Food was lush! Will definitely be back.

    It’s great to eat where the menu is ‘different’ beautifully cooked, super fresh and so tasty. Cosy inside and the smell from the food being cooked was wonderful. Just rebooked!
