   Fantastic experience with really beautiful cakes that were delicious! Very attentive waitress and felt thoroughly spoilt. A highly recommend a visit.

   Fabulous experience at the Savoy for afternoon tea, great friendly staff and service. The price is for where you are and the service you receive, completely enjoyed the whole experience. Will definitely enjoy this again

   We went for afternoon tea to celebrate my mums 70th birthday and it didn’t disappoint! The food was amazing, the service was top notch and I love that they have a children’s afternoon tea so my 10 year old niece could join us and eat food that she actually likes! (Sandwiches without mustard and chutney etc.) It’s pricey but you pay for the experience and it was definitely worth it. As an added extra they presented mum with a birthday cake with candle and a card, the was a surprise to us all and a really nice touch! The piano player was excellent too!

   Pleasantly surprised as the Savoy wasn’t as ‘stuffy’ as I had anticipated. It was quiet and we didn’t feel too squeezed in. We had a lovely waitress who was friendly and accommodating. I did however, have to wait some time for hot chocolate and the first pot was just warm and wet without a hint of chocolate. The 2nd was a lot better. The sandwiches were different and well made. The scones were the highlight, light and fluffy and still warm. The selection of cakes and pastries were all unique and tasty and my dietary requirement was well catered for. Things we didn’t enjoy were the cake stand being between us on the table like a wall separating us! Also the sugar pot had jam smeared over the lid from a previous sitting. Overall this was a good experience.

   From booking to the day, the service I received was 5*. A few weeks before attending I enquired if my booking could increase by one more guest as I wanted to bring my daughter along for the day as well. Response was quick and they were about to accommodate my request. On the day we arrived 15 mins early and we were invited to sit in the gallery bar area and enjoyed a cocktail and the staff were so kind and helpful. We felt relaxed and welcome. We were then shown to our table and the staff went through the menus. The food was exceptional and offered a fantastic selection. All the members of staff we meet were engaging and also informative. I took my my mum for her birthday and lovely cake and card brought out to mark the occasion.

   Went for afternoon tea as a birthday treat - was a lovely experience; Chloe and Giuseppe did wonderful job taking care of our every need - Chloe particularly went above and beyond to make the experience special, thank you!

   We went to celebrate our birthdays and had the best time! The staff were just lovely; very attentive and super efficient. The food was exceptional and beautifully presented. As it was our birthday we were presented with a special plate with a birthday cake & candle and card from The Gallery. The whole experience super special.

    The afternoon experience was lovely and our guest was treated to a lovely birthday welcome for the special occasion. The only slight let down was that at one point a couple of our teas were mispoured into the wrong cups and needed to be replaced and this also took a little longer than we would have hoped. The mistake was eventually though, the staff were very friendly and the ambience and experience was lovely.
