Sanfords has been an Astoria landmark since 1922. The Sanfords of today serves exceptionally well prepared American comfort food, in a modern, casual & sleek environment. The space is bright & alive during the day. Dim, candlelit and relaxing in the evening, with loungy tunes playing in the background. The combination of lighting, sound & warm colors create a truly unique vibe in the space.
Aside from the great food & atmosphere, Sanford’s also boasts Queens Largest Whisky Bar stocking over 300 single malts and bourbons, as well as 30 wines by the glass. All of our wines are maintained in the Le Ver devin Wine preservation system, which pumps the precise amount of air out of each bottle of wine that is opened.

This place, from start to finish, was absolutely terrible. Food sucked and was forgettable. Wine was overpriced and disgusting. Service wasn’t much better. I felt like I was at a club with how busy it was. Considering how bad this was, I should have just ate at a club.

This was my first time here. Reunited with friends and this was the perfect place. The atmosphere was great. The service spectacular. The food was absolutely amazing! The portions were really good. I couldn’t finish it all. I will definitely be back here!

Sanfords has been a favorite of our family for many years. They've got something for everyone on the menu and I haven't had a bad experience yet. I do wish they would update the menu a little bit but everything I've had has been great. The atmosphere fits most occasions from a friendly get together to a special night for two. Well worth a visit.
