   Great food, good prices being linked to Adventure Island wristbands but service was extremely slow.. 45 mins wait for food!

   The staff were amazing, extremely helpful and friendly, lovely afternoon tea, great view of the sea, would definitely visit again.

   Lovely afternoon tea. Beautiful views, lovely food, warm scones just out of the oven, fresh cream, what’s not to like! Endless drinks too. Would definitely buy afternoon tea voucher for a present after such an enjoyable experience. Staff very friendly and service great too.

   Not type restaurant I used a few years ago. Took a friend wh had never been. I was mortified how the place was so awful.

   The Staff are friendly and helpful although bar service is sometimes a little slow. My only complaint is the poor choice of beers - lager and nothing else. Some bottled craft ales would be a great addition.

   This is not the first time we have had afternoon tea .. I think we have had 5 this year .. it’s the best afternoon tea in Southend .. the food is excellent and the service is fantastic, You can just sit and enjoy your tea while looking out of the window at the sea xx

    We love Sands. The staff are always very helpful and food is lovely. A nice chilled atmosphere making it the perfect stop off with kids when visiting Southend. Super value especially if you iwn a Adverture Island annual pass as you receive 20% off. A trip to Sputhend isnt complete without lunch at Sands.
