    Beautiful restaurant with delicious food that was presented well. Quiet place with ocean view and excellent service. Definitely recommend this restaurant and hotel.

    It was a disappointing experience. There was a long wait from ordering to receiving the food and drinks, not to mention the costly parking at the hotel. The food was good, but waiting for service took away from the food experience, It felt like the restaurant was understaffed, with the waiters actually making the drinks and servicing the clientele. I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually cooking the food. Our Amuse Bouche came after our appetizers and during our salad serving. Overall, it was not a very good experience for such a beautiful venue.

    We had a wide variety of menu items, all of which were terrific. The service was highly attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be back.

    Food is very, very good for a hotel restaurant. Small place with distant ocean views and views of the park. Ora King Salmon was excellent on cous cous. Breakfasts are expensive but high quality.

    Oceana and its restaurant, Sandpiper, are stunning!!! The service is top notch, the ambiance is intimate and offers ocean views, the staff ultra friendly and charming and the food outstanding!!! I’ll be back!

    Loved my experience at Sandpiper, Jonathan and Bella were very knowledgeable of the food, Jonathan gave his recommendations and they did not disappoint, Marissa always made sure we were ok and enjoyed our time, could not have asked for a better experience, highly recommend 11/10 🙌🏽

    The Sandpiper was wonderful, made all the more remarkable by the attentive and delightful Oceana team, from the front desk and Sandpiper wait staff to their amazing sommelier, Monsieur Lepetit. We enjoyed every moment we got to relax and take in the tastes, sights and casual elegance of The Sandpiper for a dear friend's birthday. It was a quiet evening for a Saturday, perhaps as this intimate eatery was just recently opened to the non-hotel public? Perhaps not so recent, but certainly new to us so please go experience before word gets out and every table is booked in this cozy eatery ensconced within the Oceana. We did not get a chance to experience the rooftop terrace, but have heard great things so looking forward to it the next time. Such a lovely boutique hotel with every detail attended to, from the magical fireplaces in both the hotel lobby and inside the Sandpiper itself to the gorgeous poolside tables. We dined indoors with an ocean view of the sunset peeking thru the Palisades Park foliage across the street. The restaurant is small (perhaps a dozen tables?), situated one floor above Ocean Avenue, hosting a full bar and a remarkably well-versed sommelier. We loved every sip of the rose bubbles and wine selection M. Lepetit presented as well as our amuse-bouche and entrees. There are many delightful choices, but do not miss the lavender butter...apparently a signature of The Sandpiper. Just wow! The grilled cauliflower was a stand out as was the chicken and the salmon. We closed the evening with the expresso martinis and a beautiful birthday plate of fresh chocolate-drizzled strawberries and macarons. Absolute perfection. All in all, a delightful experience all the way around and one we gals hope to soon revisit!
