   Sammy’s at Hunt Valley, is always a disappointment when compared to Sammy’s in Mount Vernon. Lights are too bright. Staff is inexperienced. Waitress was pleasant, but did not bring wine until we were half way through the meal. She packed our take home boxes but never brought them to our table. Crab and lobster ravioli was heavy and under cooked. Chicken parmigiana on the other hand was over cooked and dry. Entrance floor is extremely slippery and unsafe!

   We have been to Sammy’s before, but the food this visit just wasn’t up to par. We had a party of 8 and almost every dish was swimming in a sauce. The carbonara was basically a soupy alfredo sauce.

   Always consistent as far as service, portions, taste of the food, and staff. Gabby is an excellent waitress.

   Always a stand out in food and service. We love Renee! Favorites are crab toast, antipasto platter, chicken Milanese, halibut, really you can’t go wrong! Also love the Julia salad.

   the food was good The salad came out fast and so did the dinner. I felt rushed . This is not a restaurant to dine. Food good but not amazing. It is very noisy and almost like a production line. I loved the new enclosed porch . It helps the noise level and nice to look out and see the mall. The heaters on the porch help to keep warm

   6 of us went to dinner for a girls' night out. A few of us were seated by the hostess, but half of us had to wonder around the restaurant to find the group as the hostess was missing from the front. The noise level is VERY loud. We asked if the fan over our heads could be turned off and were told no. It was DECEMBER, and it was very cold. Our server disappeared after taking our orders. 5 of us got most of our food. One salad was never delivered. A pizza wasn't delivered until we flagged down another server to ask for it. One side of pasta came about 10 minutes after the meal was served. Our server finally showed up again as we were almost finished our meal. Bottom line, get more wait staff! The pricing was fair, and the portions sizable. However, the service is not top notch.

    Sammie’s is a neighborhood gem & has become a meeting place for friends & family The food is excellent ( try the sausage & peppers appetizer ) & you will have more than enough to take home. Tiramisu is flavorful & tasty
