Our server was horrible. Rarely came back to our table, missed multiple opportunities for more drinks for us from bar. Never asked us if we wanted more bread, and when we finally asked for more (we got 1 for table of 5) she never brought. 45 minutes after getting salads she realized we still didn’t have main course. Realized ticket never printed in kitchen, even though she walked by our table at least 10 times to other tables who arrived after us and had their food already. Our food finally came after hour. They apologized, but it didn’t feel sincere. Overall a bad night out that cost me $180+ on daughter’s birthday.

Steak order sirloin cut is to salty. Fried sweet potato is too thin, dry and as if you're eating card board. My raspberry tea tasted tea only needs more raspberry flavor.

Great service from our waiter he was great and the food delicious. I am giving it 4 only because of the hostess. She was not welcoming when I told her I had a reservation she seemed flustered. We then waited close to 20 min to get seated. We made reservations ahead of time as we are traveling and waiting made us have to rush to eat our food. Overall I would go again if I know I have time to spare reservations are only a suggestion.

This location has only been open a short time. The gentleman that took care of our party was fantastic! Overall the food was good, all members of our party each had a steak. All steaks were ordered medium, but one was very overcooked, (well, dry). Sides were just ok, plain, bland, lacked seasoning. Expected more regarding sides. We will try Saltgrass again in the future, but Longhorn Steakhouse in Denton has been very consistent in flavor, quality and preparation, and their sides are very tasty, with a unique selection that makes you want to return! Many other dinner selections if you do not want a steak. It is great to have a few steakhouse options in Denton finally!

The food is what makes this a less complimentary review. The baked potato soup, I’ve never had anything like it before. It tasted over cooked and some strange tastes I never could identified. The overall was not pleasant. Secondly, another order included a patty melt, it is a basic menu item without any taste. Thirdly, friendly staff that were attentive, but strapped and a hoping handling the crowd. Where we sat I could see the kitchen staff humping the food out. So I’m not sure why the food quality was so low, because service was on point. Lastly, the whole place was clean and inviting. We will be back in a few months to see if the food quality has improved. Maybe it was just our items, I’m not sure. Hope you all find something tasty there.
