Sailor Jack’s is the top restaurant in Benicia for seafood served with California flair. Located on the scenic Carquinez Straits, our seasonally changing menu offers something for everyone at breakfast, lunch, weekend brunch and dinner. Named for author Jack London who lived nearby and loved the area, our menu is naturally complimented by a carefully curated selection of great wines and signature cocktails also available in our comfortable upstairs bar.                       We went for a little Christmas cheer upstairs with the holiday decorations 😊It was quiet for a Sunday night at 6:30 so got a nice table at the window. Steve the bartender provided the service and was very helpful in answering questions about the menu. My wife had the egg batter petrale and I had the fish and chips . Wife raved about the fish and my fish and chips were tender and hot . A+ experience !

                      Very good food. Beware they close during the week at 7:30. We had 6:30 reservations (why they allow that is a mystery) so we had to endure the lack of service and noise of closing the restaurant while attempting to enjoy the quality food they had prepared. The small space was occupied by a very large group that was extremely loud and clueless that anyone besides their group was present, they were obnoxious! So disappointed as the food was very good and the environment just the opposite. The staff also appeared to be clueless on what a poor environment they allowed to persist and contributed to. First and last time to experience Salor Jacks!

                      Delicious petrale sole. Friends always love their fish and chips, too. Good cocktails. Good service. Brussels sprouts way too lemony. Decent creme brulee, not amazing. Overall a fantastic location and pleasant dining experience. We will definitely return.
