   Food + Service consistent ..... with other sister restaurants ... bit too noisy, nothing to absorb sound ...and the cocktails, innovative but bit too small - wrong glass for a martini

   Saffy is undeniably a well-run establishment with a clear sense of professionalism. However, the overall experience is somewhat marred by the palpable emphasis on table turnover. The rushed pace—exemplified by the urgency to take orders, the swift clearing of plates, and a subtle push for alcohol—feels at odds with the ambiance one might expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The subtle disapproval directed at requests for tap water further detracts from the experience and leaves an impression of upselling rather than genuine hospitality. Given that Saffy is not a budget-friendly dining option, one expects an environment conducive to relaxation and leisure, not one that feels hurried or transactional. While the food and operation are commendable, the apparent prioritization of maximizing turnover over customer comfort is a significant drawback, and one that would likely dissuade me from returning.

   Totally packed on a Friday night, had to lean across the table to hear each other. Our server suggested we order 5 starters and two entrees for the 3 of us which felt like upselling. We got 3 starters and 2 skewers and the 2nd skewer was more than we needed. The menu prices are, like all restaurants in LA since the pandemic, dizzyingly, insanely high. Of the starters, the celery root was exceptional. The two skewers were delicious but, at the end of the day, they are undressed flame-cooked meat. We can make that at home. It seems Saffy's will be fine without us.

   Had a wonderful time at Saffy’s last night — I have high expectations for this restaurant “group” and y’all deliver great food and service every time. This was also the first time in a long while that I’ve received a bill and thought “this is less than what I was expecting,” a rare joy in these economic times. Happy holidays and thank you!

    Great food, really loud and crowded. We got shoved in a small corner next to the door- not very comfortable.
