Japanese

Sachi is a celebration of Japanese food, culture and craft. Our food is inspired by regional Japanese cooking and is made with local ingredients from unique producers. Expect line-caught fish prepared by our chefs at the sushi counter, British meat from heritage breeds cooked over coals and organic Japanese greens grown in Sussex.

The open dining room is complemented by a sushi counter, hidden vaults, a private dining room and our high ball bar. We have a sake sommelier on hand, with our selection of sake curated by one of the UK’s only Sake Samurais. Our Japanese whisky collection is one of London’s most extensive, and our cocktails are crafted by in-house mixologist with seasonal produce and rare spirits.

From 14 November we will be opening for lunch as well as dinner. We’ll be offering our full à la carte menu, which includes dishes for those that need to be in and out.

The black waitress has something problem in her mind. When we started to order, she suddenly asked would you like to have a bottle of champagne? We refused but felt awkward. In the middle of the dinner, she came and asked again if we would like to have champagne. I think she had her sales KPI which made her so eager to sell. Embarrassing service and won’t come back again!

As usual food always excellent, a real pity so much was not available to order repeatedly throughout the meal! The Ukrainian waitress we have had before as charming as ever.

The food particularly the sashimi is exquisite. The service is also very pleasant and attentive. My only reservations are the background music is too loud and the other tables are slightly too close. Both inhibit conversation.

I’ve been to Sachi multiple times and the food is always great. The only thing I would say is the service is not very attentive and the wait time in between courses was too long.

Great service, amazing environment and nice location. Lady called Angi was our server, she was very nice, friendly and very professional. Provided great service and the resturant was very clean. All staff was polite and friendly, very welcoming. Food was delicious and the Maki rolls were incredible. I highly recommend. I came with a booking for 6 on my birthday and Angi made it special and memorable.

The starter was just a couple of spinach leaves with salad dressing - very disappointing. The main was good but again the portion is too small.
