   We went here to celebrate a special Birthday. The ambiance and food is average. Service was all right. If you are going to dine out on an average night this place will work but I won’t recommend for special occasions.

   Great food nice enough location for broadway show . Food the best part of things . Price fix meal gone up from old days of 30 to 45 but can’t complain about quality . Not very ritzy so stick to the food and you’ll be ok leaving . Wasn’t too loud as others have said .

   Saar was disappointing. The service was friendly, but extremely slow and inattentive. The food was bland. We enjoyed the garlic naan, but everything else was sub par. We were expecting so much more based on other reviews. We will not be back.

   We dined at Saar Indian Bistro before going to the Gershwin Theater. They had a $45 pre-theater menu that fit our needs perfectly. The food was excellent and the meal was served in time for us to get to the theater on time. We did not feel rushed at all. We absolutely would dine there again ourselves and recommend Saar Indian Bistro whether it's pre-theater or at another time.

    We ate lunch here before the Wicked performance across the street at the Gershwin Theatre. I am not sure why this place wasn’t packed. The food was delicious and the restaurant was so adorable and perfect perfectly themed for Wicked, especially with its pink chairs and pink accents. I highly recommend  this restaurant.
