   It took us one hour from the time we sat down to the time it took us to get our stale, overpriced burt waffle fries. It took nearly 30 mins just to get our drinks. The place was not busy yet the food took forever to get. The price was way too high for the quality of food. My fried chicken was as overcooked as the waffle fries we overpaid for. The dessert was good and was the quickest to get to our table. After this experience, I will not be returning to eat here. A dinner should not take almost two hours for a party of two in a not busy restaurant.

   I chose S&L restaurant as my friends were joining me and requested a quiet place where we could chat during our meal We were greeted by a charming hostess ,our server Katie was very efficient ,chatty and a delight whom made our dining experience enjoyable. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. My guests remarked that they certainly would return. The only negative was the music was a little loud and the restaurant too dark for the day.    In the past, we have had very good meals at S&L (Abby), but last night was a culinary fail. While our server was good, the food was not. My wife and I had the beef dip, and it was luke warm, overcooked, tasteless, and tiny--there were two small slices of beef that got lost on the large buns. Moreover, the noise level from the music system was distracting to conversation. The meal and evening was a disappointment. We don't expect to be back.
