   The restaurant wasn’t busy and we were asked if this was a special occasion, we said it was a special date night. We were seated at the bench tables right next to another group, so much for a private romantic evening. It took a long time for a server to take our drink orders and bring out the bread. We waited a long time to get our drinks from the bar. We waited a long time to get a second drink from the bar. The filet and lobster were cooked perfectly. I ordered coffee with my desert and it was cold, the server was no where to be seen to get her attention. The creamed spinach tasted great but made us both miserable later that evening.

   This was amazing!!! The steak was fantastic!! The baked potato was amazing!!! Our waitress Beth was GREAT!!!!! It was an amazing meal and service. We were under dressed from just gambling, but didn’t get treated no different than anyone else! It’s pricey, but it was worth it and we had dining credits and then had a balance which made it even better! Great date night if you want to impress someone.

   Maybe not quite as upscale as the locations down state but food is excellent. Drinks amazing. Great wine list. Prices as expected at Ruth’s Chris. Service was not quite as good as at the Troy and Grand Rapids location but still quite good, especially “post-COVID”.

   Of all the tables we have enjoyed over the years Ruth's Chris is always a top shelf experience. They don't do a whole lot of culinary art but what they do they do very VERY WELL! You simply can't do steak any better!
