The menu follows a Southern-fried meat-and-three concept, meaning diners order a meat, plus three sides. Those will include Ruthie’s mac and cheese, of course, but also white-soy-braised greens, stewed chickpeas and smoked cauliflower with a spicy soy glaze. “We’re going to be changing it a lot based on seasonality,” Hill says of the menu. “ Every vegetable has got to be fantastic because it has to stand on its own.” One thing that will help that: Hill is already growing all of the restaurant’s own herbs at his South Arlington community garden plot.

                  My friend had the brisket and loved it.. cocktails were great too! We stopped in for a late lunch and definitely want to go back for dinner. Also loved the hushpuppies and potato salad. He was talking about going back for more before we hit the driveway on the way home ~

                  Noise level not energeti--frenetic. Had my hearing aids set for noisy ambience and the noise was still overwhelming. I know this is because the inside is very noisy I really only like using the outside patio.

                  Amazing food, get the ribs you won’t regret it. The octopus appetizer was really good as well and we had cookies with ice cream for desert. Took the left overs home. You won’t be disappointed with portion size either 😆 Also the service was on point!! John W. Helped us pick the right items and even suggested alternatives which we used as well. The location is great too. Can’t wait to spread the word. 😊😊
