Francis Ford Coppola shares his personal pantheon of recipes at RUSTIC, Francis’s Favorites, the winery’s full-service restaurant. RUSTIC’s menu embraces international as well as traditional Italian dishes, with an emphasis on family-style cooking that features fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the property’s organic herb and produce garden. Authentic, Neapolitan-style pizzas are also a specialty.

RUSTIC offers service in our casual dining room and on an outdoor terrace (weather permitting) overlooking the vineyards of Alexander Valley. A bar adjacent to the restaurant also serves a full complement of cocktails and an extensive wine list.

Out waiter was excellent - knew the menu inside and out including all the recent changes. Was attentive with out being intrusive. Good was really nice and some beautiful new selections on the menu. Lovely evening. Will continue to recommmend.

We had a lovely NYEve dinner starting with a free, small glass of Prosecco. We shared a salad which was tasty and fresh, with mandarins from their garden. I had the chicken saltimbaco with risotto. It was a big portion, so I had it the next day for lunch too. My friend had the salmon and loved it. The other friend is vegetarian and our server was very accommodating and asked the chef to not use the beef short rib nor the chili oil in the risotto of the day. They added mushrooms and broccolini. She loved it. Then we shared the homemade sorbet, again they used the mandarins from the garden. A great dinner once again at Rustic. Our server was excellent. We'll definitely be back again.

Very few patrons and now I know why. I’ve loved this restaurant. The past few times it’s been great. Was strange to see so few people on NYE. Don’t know if there’s been a change is kitchen but I won’t be going back anytime soon. Cacio e pepe was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Seafood pasta was bland and broth was tasteless. Staff was efficient and pleasant.

My Wife had the salmon and It was not fresh. She could only take one bite cause it was so bad. I had the New York steak and had so much MSG on it. I know this was a New Year’s eve early dinner, but it wasn’t their normal waiters or cooks.

We frequent here often when we come to visit our son. The view and atmosphere, shop is very nice. The food/dining is overpriced. They do use fresh ingredients and the olive oil is good. I've gotten a few times the linquine with clams and just recently linquine fruitti di mare (shrimp, squid, mussels) and it had no taste and was very watery (both times). My husband got a pepperoni pizza and that was watery (watery tomato sauce) and just a few dopplers of mozzarella balls. For the prices, not very good. I'm a cook and make all these entrees, even pizza. I have to say, mine taste better. One other time, I got the special and that was excellent. Don't know if there are different chefs but very disappointed when you spend that much money and not be satisfied with the food I guess your paying for the atmosphere and name. Maybe just go for the wine tasting. Service was always good.
