Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.

    the food and servers were amazing however the hosts at front ruined the experience. Had a reservation and then was told we had to wait for our table. 30 minutes later our table wasn’t ready and hosts were not accommodating. We weren’t the only ones having the issue but it was very frustrating that a sorry wasn’t Given but rather a go stand outside or shop. If we have a reservation I would hope they’d honor it. At the end of the day great food but not great if you are relying on a reservation to meet up with family

    I was really dissapointed with this experience or lack of. We were so excited to try Rumis after hearing great things about the Sandy Springs location. It was our 1 year anniversary. It was packed and the food look great. We were seated right away but in an aisle that was so crowded right in front of the kitchen. We waited 10 minutes and no one even came to bring us water or give an update so we left. Im hoping we can try the other location and have a better experience.

    Probably the worst dining experience ever. I made reservations well in advance and requested indoor seating. We ended up outside at the worst possible table on a very windy, cool evening. The patio heaters kept blowing out because of the intense winds, so it was freezing. Two requests were made to move to a different table (inside or outside) because it was so unpleasant. We were not accommodated. I just feel like for a $500 dinner, the manager should have realized how horrible it was at this particular table and done something to make the experience somewhat better. The lesson learned is never to accept outdoor dining at Rumi's/Avalon.

    I always get the salmon, I am sure everything else is just as delicious, but I can NOT not get it!

    Rumi's is always consistent with the food they serve. The service was amazing, and we had a very nice dinner. I will say that it is very loud at times there but overall, it is a great place to eat.
