Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.
At Rumi's Kitchen, Ali has been able to artfully bring together an atmosphere full of joyous energy with attentive and generous Persian hospitality along with the unforgettable unique aromas and flavors of the Persian cuisine which is truly reflective of his simple intention to bring joy and happiness to the overall dining experience of the guests.     We had a 7 o’clock reservation to sit inside and after waiting 30 minutes for a table we were seated outside instead. The weather was cold and they seated the early walk-ins without reservations inside whereby making our reservation useless. I understand the early walk-ins not wanting to sit in the cold, but they shouldn’t have scarified those customers that did make reservations. We were not the only ones having to wait. There was one party that waited over an hour past their respective reservation time. Terrible customer service!

    Amazing food and service! We had a wonderful server, Alexzia, who was spot on with the suggestions for food and drinks, checked on us all the time, and made sure we had the best experience possible. Most of our group hadn't been there before, and Alexzia explained the menu and was very patient with us. Every dish brought in was super tasty, and Sea Bass is my personal favorite.

    Jordan was absolutely terrific! He made what was a very nice night and a delicious meal into a memorable experience. Just a delight. Personable, knowledgeable (his reco's were terrific), and very engaging. We will ask for him next time we are there. Great Place and a Great Time.

    Great drinks, the signature cocktails Rumi’s Old Fashion is delicious. Apps are plentiful and equally enjoyable. The hummus pairing with the herbs is classic clean. Main course did not disappoint. Try the different rice recipes as a break from the regular recipe rice. The beef kebob meat was perfectly cooked and juicy. Just the right amount of seasoning to tantalize the tastebuds. The boat of crème brûlée finishes off the dinner with a scrumptious sweet. Great dinner!

    Rumi’s almost always delivers. Our reservation was for 5 pm on a Saturday . We were promptly seated and the server was pleasant and polite . Food is always great and ambiance is always a plus. Would continue to dine here
