Ruex Cafe and Bar is an all-day dining destination welcoming guests from morning through to late night and offers a unique and refined blend of a café and restaurant. Start the day with our fiery Pork Belly Eggs Benedict or Halloumi Avocado Toast, an elevated rendition of the classic avocado toast.     We have had handfuls of visits here. Unfortunately this visit we had mediocre service. Host seemed uninterested and overworked and even forgot to bring us a holiday menu and when we were paying our daughter asked why they dont do holiday menu longer and server notified us that they do i guess the host forgot to provide us with that special menu….. (my daughter saw some sort of gingerbread waffle on their instagram. The host was also not at all welcoming when we walked in so not surprised by the missed menu.

    Really slow service. Almost non existent. Friend tried to place order for takeout half way through our meal. Server never came. Drinks never refilled. Slow to arrive when finally ordered. Food is mid in my opinion.

    Lunch: Food was good and hot. Service was impaired due to low staff. Dessert was not of adequate portion to share. Will give them another chance for dinner.

    We dined in for 'Dinner with Santa' again this year and both the kids and adults enjoyed the experience! Food & drinks were delicious, great service as always, and Santa was just so adorable and interactive with the kids! Thanks for a great time!

    Had a great dining experience the staff and food was amazing! The cauliflower bites are the best I’ve ever had. We went for dinner with Santa it is such an amazing magical experience.

    Dinner with Santa was phenomenal! Santa was engaging, attentive and kind. The kids and holiday menu was great addition for the evening. Highly recommend this event
