Welcome to Roy's Ka'anapali! Since opening "the original" Roy's Hawaii Kai in 1988, I have set out to explore "new directions," blending classic European cooking techniques with unique influences of Asia and the Pacific.     Calamari was amazing, best I’ve had. My wife had the salmon and it was perfectly done as were my giant tiger shrimp. We will be back here for sure !!

    Our salmon and mahi-mahi was delicious. Cooked to perfection. We had a wonderful server who took great care of us while we dined. Highly recommend

    Customer service was wonderful! Cocktails and wine were very good. Mahi mahi was wonderful but the meat loaf was bland with very little taste. Mahalo to our wonderful server!

    The service here was top notch—attentive without being intrusive, friendly but professional. But the food left much to be desired. Three of our party of six ordered filets, and all three were significantly overcooked. For example, “medium rare” had zero pink inside. Also, all six of us found that our entrees needed a LOT of salt. Flavors were fine, once salted, but we were disappointed by the food, especially considering the price. The one standout was the macadamia nut tart, which was outstanding. All things considered, we won’t be back.

    For a fine dining experience, they were out of at least three items. When we talk to the manager, all he did was make excuses. We stayed and finished our meal. Our very expensive meal!

    We have eaten at many Roy’s but it has been awhile..We have always remembered the experiences to have been very positive not so such this time. The food was still excellent . The restaurant was under staffed. Which didn’t allow our server to be as attentive as she should’ve been. It wasn’t her fault..For a higher end restaurant we were disappointed with the service of restaurant not our server..She was very nice but was running around bussing tables filling water glasses for many tables It shouldn’t be like that for the price of eating there.

    Unbelievable!!! Food was great. Our waiter Junior was AWESOME!!! He made some great recommendations and was very attentive to my wife and I. Very nice lunch overlooking a beautiful golf course. Recommend by a friend. He was spot on.

    Our meals were disappointing. We had two fish dishes and a ribeye. First dish was dry and overcooked. Flavors were bland. And I was so looking forward to it as we went here three times last year and it was delicious. New chef? Just a bad night? I don’t know.
