    Great breakfast! Finally, someone in NOVA who makes great home fries. Had a bacon, mushroom and cheddar omelette. Also very well prepared.

    Food was on point and reasonably priced. Cocktails and Mocktails were delicious! As a vegetarian, there were many options to choose from. THE DEVILED EGGS!!! BEST IVE EVER HAD!!

    This is the second time I have visited this restroom . The food and drinks were delicious. Heads up the Tuna Reuben is made with real tuna. I was expecting the typical tuna mixture you would use for a tuna sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised to see they used tuna steaks.

    Went for a couples date night based on an ad seen on IG. Jessie was our server and was amazing! He gave us recommendations and was personable and attentive. Lemon garlic wings Shrimp and grits Corn deviled eggs Cristy thighs with carrots Shrimp and grits Salmon Brussels sprouts Chocolate cake Everything was amazing!! The owner even came and checked in on us. We will definitely return.

    The Royal Restaurant is a fabulous local neighborhood restaurant. My friends , my foody dog and I had a late lunch there on a Saturday afternoon and sat out on the patio. Great atmosphere very relaxed and the food couldn’t be beat. Here are some standouts: chicken wings, deviled eggs (just wow!), shrimp and grits (the consensus is this was the best s&g we’ve ever had, and we’ve tried a lot). Panzanella salad with chicken was fresh and delicious. Smoked brisket hash was great and the accompanying breakfast spuds were to behold. One disappointing note is that biscuits and gravy are no longer on the menu. This was a fantastic dish and the biscuits were to die for - please bring this back! I also appreciated the big bowl of water the waitress brought my dog. The crowd was dog-friendly. Hands-down one of the best casual dining options in Old Town.
