    I really wanted to like this restaurant, but i could hardly eat my breakfast. I ordered the Royal, a pancake, eggs, bacon and home fries. The home fries were cold and stale tasting. The bacon was also cold and soft. I could not eat either one. The pancake was actually pretty good, as were the over easy eggs. I did not ever try the toast. I really hoped that this reincarnation of Royal would be true to the original, but it was far from it. Sadly, I will not go back.

    Disappointing today, although I've had better experiences here. They must be short staffed; while the staff was pleasant, service was spotty. We twice asked for salt and pepper which never arrived, and they got one order entirely wrong. Plus, on cold days they shouldn't sit people on the "heated" patio or at least have blankets available if they must. My feet were number by the time brunch was over.

    I have been to Royal for years before the recent changes. Definitely noticed some changes in the restaurant itself and the food selection is more upscale. Food was very good and our server, Kimberly, provided us with a great experience!

    Great food and Ana was a superb server. The music is too loud in main eating area- only thing we didn’t enjoy.

    Love the Royal’s new look and menu, even as long-time, fabulous wait staff continue to serve us. Everyone in our group was impressed with their chosen foods and drinks - we will be returning there often in the future!
