One of the oldest Indian restaurants in Raleigh, North Carolina, Royal India Restaurant offers quality Indian cuisine in North Carolina. We offer vegetarian, vegan, and meat (chicken, goat, seafood) dishes. Our waitress was delightful, the other gentleman who assisted with service was a bit gruff and maybe needs some pointers on service. Almost all of the food was very good. My naan on my Thali plate was burnt but everything else was really good! Highly recommend takeout as that appears to be the main business here.

Royal India has a fantastic selection of Indian dishes that are not easily found at other places. I ordered a sizzling royal sampler and it was fantastic. This is one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Raleigh and it is clear why it has been around for so long!

Royal India was very authentic and an amazing experience for our first Indian cuisine. Wait staff is very different from usual, be we did not mind. Everything came out very quickly, hot, and delicious. The restaurant itself was warm and the food has a base spice so dress accordingly.
