The views from your table at Rough Creek Lodge are breathtaking, adding to what is sure to be an enjoyable meal experience. Begin with the duck sampler as your appetizer. This includes duck prosciutto and ham, seared foie gras and smoked duck biscuit. There are numerous other appetizers to choose from at Rough Creek Lodge as well.



The Angus beef is pretty special here, cooked to order over a wood burning grill. At Rough Creek Lodge, patrons can choose from hanger steak, rib eye or filet steak. Side dishes include green beans, potato cheddar casserole and green tomato chutney. A complete meal will be finished off with a choice of five different dessert items.

                                                Upon arrival I was told I did not have reservations. I showed Rough Creek that I had a confirmation from Open Table but, they said they did not honor Open Table reservations. However, we were promptly seated for dinner. The Food and Beverage manager requested that I email the Open Table reservation after she provided me her business card which I did. Strange that Open Table and Rough Creek Lodge are confused. Excellent dinner with my wife with cocktails and a nice wine. I observed on the menu in very small print that a 21% "service charge" would be added which I am glad I had observed. However, when the bill was presented I noticed that the 21% service charge had been added, however; the bill was presented with the total and provided space for a gratuity. I was glad I had read the fine print and didn't add an additional 20% gratuity. Another 20% onto a $425 check would have been way over priced for the experience.
