   Had a lovely Sunday morning here enjoying the Champagne Breakfast. At first there was no atmosphere and it felt very formal and slightly strained, with only the sounds of low conversation and cutlery when we arrivedand i regretted booking. It was making me feel slightly uncomfortable even though staff were supper friendly, especially Quinten. I asked if the extremely low background music I heard up at the bar area could be turned up to create a more comfortable, relaxed vibe. Thankfully this was done and the whole atmosphere instantly changed for the better. Sunday breakfast should be fun and not feel like sitting in the board room. The food at the buffet was plentiful for the amount of guest, very fresh with a really good variety so we didn't find it necessary to order from the menu. I enjoyed the Greek yogurt aling with the vast selection of nuts and seeds, fresh fruit and honey from the honeycomb. The scrabled eggs were very light, infact the best I've had in ages. The sourdough was perfect and i was able to toast it. Finally i had a few cut of cheese and fruits to finish off my champagne, then sat until early midday with a pot of tea people watching which is great in this hotel. We agreed the champagne breakfast offer was very good value and we'd probably book this again when we are next in London.

   Dear Sharon, Firstly, please accept my sincere apologies that the music was too low at the beginning of your meal. We certainly wouldn't ever want our guests to feel like it's too quiet to talk at a normal level, and definitely not to the point where it feels awkward or uncomfortable. I'm so pleased that the music was quickly turned up and the atmosphere immediately became much more enjoyable, but I'm sorry that you even had to ask.    Stunning lounge area with live piano music. This afternoon tea experience was great from start to end. First, the booking process was quick, table booked on the same day without any issue, my guest and I were seated next to the piano player who seemingly played hits one after the other. The staff was polite and attentive, as well as generous. The sandwiches were so delicious so when offered a second plate, we couldn't say no (technically we could, we were just being greedy). I very much liked the twist on each staple sandwich, and frankly, it was all so fresh and tasty I couldn't find one I liked better (maybe the coronation chicken, but they're all first place)! After a second plate of sandwiches, we moved on to my favourite part of the tea: scones and jam! The scones were plain & fruity, and the stars of the show were the lemon curd and orange marmalade. I couldn't eat another scone yet wanted to just to finish those spreads ever so badly. As I decided to pretend to have some (form of) manners, I unfortunately didn't lick the little ramekins before continuing with the cakes. But at that moment, I realised how humans were so flawed, with only one stomach. 5 cakes to eat, already no room for anything more. So we slowed the pace, had a bit more tea to help move everything down. On that note, the white peony, dragon well, silver needle and roiboos were all lovely, we'd strongly recommend them. I started with the garden (mint & chocolate), fresh, not too sweet but not bitter, then ate the salted caramel coin, a nice sweet & salty mousse-like texture, moving on to the coconut (victoria) sponge cake with mango and passionfruit puree, which was a small but powerful bite of joy! The crown cake was fine although it is the shape (ie crown) that I remember the most. Would recommend

   The sandwiches were nice, scones were fresh, and the selection of jams for the scones was good too. Sadly by the time we got to the dessert part we were too stuffed to be able to eat any of the cakes. Not to mention that each cake was far too sweet and rich, and didn’t sit well in our stomachs as taking a bite of each proved to be a tad too painful. Perhaps something more airy and with (far) less sugar or sweeteners would have made this an all-around excellent experience. The setting was ok, but nothing spectacular to make it an experience worth remembering, sadly. The choice of live music was great, but placing the piano on a podium in the middle of the room really obstructs the view from the surroundings, which makes it feel like a closed-off space.

   Well worth a visit for afternoon tea at the Four Seasons hotel at Ten Trinity Square. We had a cocktail first then went for our afternoon tea. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the food was lovely. Could not fault our time we spent there. The building itself is spectacular lovely to see it.

   Fantastic! Service/ staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly and went over and above. Great location and atmosphere. The breakfast was very good. Would 100% recommend.

   It was the most boring tea experience ever. The food was ok. Nothing exceptional about it. Staff was friendly at least. The rotunda bar was so dark. Not the ambience I wanted for an afternoon tea.

   The seating is mostly close to other tables. There are some nice comfy seats which are in a limited supply. The waitress forgot our strainer tray and the tea we had did not taste nice and was cold despite me changing my pot. The sandwiches were not enough and we were only offered seconds if we paid more and then they were cheeky enough to incluse a service charge. It was expensive enough as it was and not good value! Other hotels and venues offer a better service and better value.
