Excellent imaginative dishes, very good service—superb sweet breads and pheasant. Mmmmmm… The ambiance is slightly lacking—-long narrow room, no tablecloths, but that is the only drawback. Can’t wait to go back!

A group of five of us went to Rosemary Bistro Cafe after attending a wonderful booktalk at Politics and Prose. It was the perfect venue for us to talk about the event and catch up with each other while having a delicious meal. Since none of us had been before, we had a lot of questions about what was on the menu. The waiter responded thoroughly and made excellent recommendations. Will definitely return.

I love Love this place. It has a neighborhood feel and great service. The food is as good as any high-priced chic restaurant but better. I can't say enough good things about Rosemary. I've been there 20 times and never had a bad experience. Go there soon. They also have nice outdoor seating.

Because it was Valentine’s Day, it was a very busy evening. The options available on the 3 courses for $95 menu were diverse. We both started with the high quality lobster broth soup. My main was a tasty scallop dish, but if the waitress had told me it was only 4 scallops, I would have picked something else. (My “neighbor’s” blue fish dish intrigued.) My husband had the beef tenderloin, which he raved about, although we honestly couldn’t identify the 2 sides. Dessert was the — wow! — chocolate raspberry tart. No one offered coffee or after-dinner drinks before dessert appeared. Staff responded enthusiastically to preparing our requested decaf cappuccinos, however, they arrived with almost no foam on top.

Went here to celebrate my wife’s birthday with our elementary-aged children. The food was absolutely dynamite. The cocktail we ordered was on point. The server was just so kind and warm. We were talking about the great experience for days afterwards.

We had a wonderful meal from start to finish, and very kind waiters who let carry on our conversation until closing.

The food here is almost always stellar. This time I was disappointed in the tasteless winter tomatoes and the fact that the salade Nicoise didn't replicate the classic recipe. But my kir was one of the best I've had anywhere, and the rest of the salade was delicieuse, especially the seared tuna.

The branzino is fabulous and the vegetable soup special of the day was great, but the onion tart and endive salad starters were odd and unappealing. I would definitely go back for the branzino and would happily try other dishes, but the food was not uniformly good during my first visit. The service was excellent, the vibe was nice, and the location across from Politics and Prose is a big plus.
