   As a member terribly disappointing didn't recognize special occasion as they didnt last time for my Birthday although asked for details of special occasion.. Food was well presented but the flavor profile disappointing and design poor at least to my our palette. Also asked if Pasta Night and booking said it was on but alas no when we arrived. Booking and website seem to be inconsistent as well as members pages.

   The staff seemed naive as to how to treat and serve patrons. No-one to greet us as we walked in , a waitress directed to our table with a pointed arm " over there" rather than walked to it, so guessed which one. Service was slow- took a long time to be asked for initial drinks, the waitress did not introduce herself and it seemed there was no system as to who served which tables. The cutlery was not placed correctly on the table. The staff appeared confused whilst giving/taking drinks from the bar, they wouldcreach across the table and around d our group to serve food and drinks, Our meals were average with two pasta dishes served with sweet tasting pasta, the potatoes with the steak dish were booked beyond taste. We have dined here previously and it is clear to us that the new owners have not trained or employed trained staff.

   The table staff were very young and obviously not been trained, not their fault. The food that I had which was Chicken Saltimbocca was swimming in a gravy sauce with 2 very thin and small pieces of chicken and you could play I spy to find the prosciutto. I would not waste my time or money to return. I had been a few years ago, and there must be a change of owners as the restaurant has gone downhill I am so sorry to see. The gardens were spectacular with the roses all in bloom.

   The food was overall very tasty and attractively presented. The beer battered flathead was not as fresh as I would have liked. Price was reasonable and there was an option to choose from the menu or select a traditional Christmas meal. I did have difficulty contacting the venue by phone on numerous occasions. Overall we were pleased with this restaurant.

   Have been to Rosebank many times including for anniversaries and Birthdays. I recommend it usually and have taken friends there often. Yesterday the family took me there for my Birthday which actually was the case last birthday too. Our particular waitress could not have been any better and we commented how good she was at her job. Very accommodating with pleasant personality. The food was ok although previous times it has been very good. After our meal I asked our waitress if we could possibly have our desserts and coffees outside as it appeared to me quite a few tables not being used. She said she was sure that would be ok but that she would check. Came back saying that that was fine and that she has pushed 2 tables together and placed waters, glasses and dessert menus on those tables. We crossed the lawn and began sitting where suggested. A different waitress came out of the chapel, which was full of diners having a private function. She basically screamed at us that we couldn’t sit there as the private diners were using those tables. Not only was she particularly rude about it nobody had sat there all the time we were there and once we moved into a corner of the property where they have placed their unused tables and chairs and it was freeing cold there and every other spot was in the sun. My birthday celebrations were cut short as we were too cold to stay. We went home early. Also at the time of being told we couldn’t sit where our waitress had arranged for us my son who has Down syndrome moved from his seat and fell backwards down the 2 huge steps from the deck. No staff came to check in him but they sure came out fast when it was to say we couldn’t sit there. He has bruises and sores on every point of his body ie wrists, elbows, knees and he had put his tooth through his lip. The care factor was zero. My husband had to help him up and then to the area we were allowed to sit in. Where did the pedantic, uncaring waitress go when my son fell. 🤷‍♀️

   This is a delightful restaurant with lots of mahogany tables and silver set within a beautifully restored federation house. The ambiance is wonderful, there is a decent amount of space between tables so you can’t be overheard talking and nor can your neighbours hear you! The staff are lovely and very attentive, they know their craft. The food our group chose was very good and the choice amazing, good wine, cocktails and other drinks on offer. A lovely place for a celebration or for a catch up with special friends. We will be back!

   Lovely venue and delightful staff, who were efficient and accommodating. Two members of our group had Peking Duck which was tender & delicious, but very sauce heavy. Other members were happy with their menu choices. Designated parking lines make it far too narrow to fit and open car doors, but street parking was available on a very busy road.

   We had such a lovely evening. The food was delicious, the atmosphere superb and the staff were excellent. A highly enjoyable night out with friends, somewhere that little bit special

    Rosebank was a great place to meet friends and to have a delightful meal. Staff were fantastic, courteous and ever ready to serve our table. Great place. Highly recommend a dining night at Rosebank.
