   Worst restaurant I have ever booked in all the years I have been using open table. We waited 15 minutes after we were seated before I got up to ask our server if he could take our order as we had an hour (after waiting the 15 minutes). Ordered table side guacamole and it wasn’t made table side and we were charged twice the menu price ($16 menu and charged $35). Our entrees came same time as our “table side” guacamole appetizer. 4 of 6 of us got our food and it was what we ordered. One got a wrong order so she sent it back and they later brought fit. The 6th person didn’t get her Caesar salad with shrimp added. When we asked about it the server said, “I thought you ate it already!”, and he was serious! Finally when she got the salad, there were 4 small shrimps. We needed water and chip refills when they brought the guacamole but no one did so I finally took the bowl and carafe and asked for a manager. I told him alol that had gone on annd All he said was, “we’ll take care of it”. No apology, nothing. Our hour had passed and once again I had to ask for the bill, which was wrong with us being charged for the wrong order, double the guacamole price and no discount for all the trouble,like the forgotten salad. Worst service I have experienced in years. Food just ok. Best thing about the place was the atmosphere and proximity to the NYC ballet. As a partial restaurant owner myself, I was appalled at the lack of customer service shown by staff and management. I DO NOT recommend this place because of our experience. A

   The maitre d was rude and refused to seat us even though my 96 year mother was waiting. Then we had to leave the building go around the corner for half a block to take her in the elevator. We had to cross through the storage and trash shed to take the wheelchair. No very Christmasy after the nutcracker.

   Despite the fact that normally Rosa Mexicana is 5*, yesterday at 3pm-5pm was much less than perfect! The 'seater' place us on the ground floor which was cold and when I went to the upstairs restroom finding people seated (normally only after 5pm) I asked that our group be moved, she refused saying the last upstairs seating ended. As we left around 4:45pm upstairs seating was full, and so SHE LIED, keeping all downstairs patrons to deal with the cold! So cold that staff were using their outer wear! She should be disciplined. Sorry for the bad review but they should have placed everyone upstairs. It was the worst seating experience ever!!!

   Excellent second time coming. My only request is a choice of fish taco with grilled fish instead of fried fish

    Highly overpriced for what it was. Ordered chicken enchiladas which are not expensive to make. Dish was over $20 and only got 2 enchiladas and there was nothing special about the dish in any other way - just regular enchiladas as I like them. Left feeling hungry. Tequila also over-priced, over $10 for just a single ounce even for the cheap ones. Did not order any. We have come for many years and know this is expensive Mexican but this time prices were absurd for what we got.
